Who We Are
Denny Deakins has over 30 years of experience in the tree care industry, starting as a young man and progressing to a full-time professional. He has worked with several regional tree services before founding TreeHugger in 2014, a family-owned and operated company that provides complete tree care services. Denny brought his son Sean into the partnership, and together they have built a business that specializes in tree removal, tree pruning, plant health care for the health and longevity of your tree and custom milling and drying services for slabs and dimensional wood products. They are fully licensed and insured and approach each project with respect for your property an our urban forest.
TreeHugger is Central Iowa’s premier tree service, and their tagline “We cut because we care” highlights it is their philosophy and high standards that sets them apart. Despite tree removal being an essential part of their business, they are equally focused on the care and management of trees. Their commitment to Urban Forestry adds value to the homeowner and the urban environment.
